whitewater state park
I wish I had more photos to share with you from this wonderful family weekend trip, but I guess I wasn't on top of it. I won't make that mistake again! Thankfully, Sidona and I did take some photos of us all at the swimming beach but those are on her camera these will have to do for now.
nine months
This little honey weighed in at her nine-month appointment at 19 pounds 4 ounces. It's amazing how quickly babies grow and how many milestones they accomplish in such a short amount of time. Natalie's been crawling for a while now and is able to pull herself up, stand, and sidestep. She loves salmon, ground beef, my homemade Swedish meatballs, chicken, egg yolks, cottage cheese, mozzarella, yogurt, kefir, bananas, avocados, mangos, peaches, squash (not zucchini though), sweet potatoes, apples, blueberries, and watermelon. The only foods she doesn't like so far are oatmeal and green beans.
Independence Day + gooseberry falls state park
Our first camping trip with both Kurt and Natalie was a great success. We learned that camping with two little ones is much harder than what it was with just the two of us. Even though it was a lot of work and not as much of a lazy vacation, we'll be taking Kurt and Natalie on many more trips. They loved it and it will get easier each year as they get older and are more capable of entertaining themselves and helping set up camp. Until then, a special "thank you" to Luke as he does all the packing and unpacking. :) It's all worth it though - isn't it just beautiful "up north"?
