we tend our garden

we cool off poolside

we eat fresh fruit (other favorites not photographed: bananas and blueberries) :)

we sneak in naps whenever possible

we pick 10 pounds of strawberries and make this jam (which qualifies as THE perfect topping for a bowl of Breyer's natural vanilla ice cream)

we visit our local county fair (for food of course!)

These warm sunny days have brought us many fond memories. I hope you've enjoyed this little peak into our summer thus far. :)

The weather was warm and sunny - perfect for a day outside. Luke and I had been waiting for a warm and sunny day to take Kurt to our local water park. For his first time in a pool, we could tell he was both apprehensive and excited. He was in the water the majority of the time, but near the pool is a huge sandbox. It's so hard to get a photo of this little boy smiling, but thanks to the largest sandbox he's ever seen, I managed to get one! :) And now I can share it here for you all to enjoy too!

I'm a little late sharing these, but here are two photos of our littlest baby taken at our 19-week ultrasound appointment and one of me at 20-weeks. I'll try not to take another month to update the blog! ;)

Most of you already know that we're expecting AGAIN! We're over-the-moon excited to be adding to our family and we're also excited that Kurt and the littlest baby :) will be close in age. As you can imagine, we have lots of "stuff" to figure out between now and then, but for now we're just going to relish in the joy of this new chapter.
